DESIGN PILLARS
Mechanics Focused:
The goal of the design is to feature the mechanics made possible by the controller. We want players to have the experience that the controller can provide. Featuring the time-control mechanics is the most important aspect of our design.
Environment Focused:
The goal of the puzzle design is to get the player to pay attention to the environment, specifically the objects in the environment that can be controlled by the time-control mechanics.
Level design and art design support this goal by keeping environmental clutter to a minimum and creating visual clarity.

MY WORK
I was in charge of some parts of our gameplay system design and implementation, like the time flow system, I/O system with our hardware, and UI system. The time flow system is the core of our gameplay. It allows the player to manipulate the timelines of multiple game objects separately. And we needed to develop our own controller hardware, I was responsible for almost everything in this part of the project. And I tried open-source hardware platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, and also tried a lot of hardware components and technologies to build our wireless controller with a wonderful interaction experience.
